3. Dreams A simple meta-fiction. An existential dilemma of an aspiring writer who stumbles onto something unique. Can he keep the guise? Will the world believe his version if he decides to come clean? There is only one way to find out….
4.Poet and a Painter How many children endure an education that they did not need it in the first place? Do parents always know what is good for their children? Are there greater hypocrites than parents? Are parents honest with their children? What happens when an irresistible force meets an immovable object?
5.Kidnap A street smart thief; a virtuoso violinist; a public gimmick gone horribly wrong; all lead to a situation that no one planned in the first place. Certain actions leave you with little escape routes. When the act has to be closed one has to take stock……
6.Devil Only a fool will play with the devil. Then the devil is smart enough to ensnare his prey. How does one handle devil? Well…… one does not! The devil calls the shot…….all the times……and collects his due.
7.Love What do you do when you fall in love with your new neighbor? The story revolves around the arrival of a new neighbor who wreaks havoc in the life of the individual otherwise content with life so far. But everything in real life usually comes with a twist…
8.A Random Act of Kindness A chance event. Three unconnected individuals. Unforeseen consequences. An ending no one is prepared for….
9.Murder Is it civilization and norms of society that hold back an individual from committing a crime? Is it true that a person would gleefully accept his chance if getting caught is ruled out? What does one do when the baser instincts surface at the right moment? Does one use rationale or happily give in?

Excellent collection of nicely written short stories which hold suspense till last. Written with subtle humour and crisp writing.Must read!
